If you’ve followed this blog for a little while now, you might have noticed that I have never posted on Wavves. This was on purpose – I just really did not dig the sound. Didn’t hate it with a passion or anything, but never liked it enough to feature it in any way. Well…here I am… posting on Wavves.

So is Nathan Williams and company going mainstream with this Mountain Dew release? They ditched the lo-fi sound kinda and bumped up the poppiness a bit. The result is good in my mind and in some strange way reminds me of Nirvana by the end (might be just me). What’s your verdict?

Well, when Wavves was noisy, i was feeling very weird for loving it. And now, the sound is cleaner, and i feel weird for not liking it.
But let’s hear the entire LP before judging a single song
I liked the first two records and I was embarrassed to say so, now I really dislike this track and feel like I should hide that fact as well.
