Loney Dear – What have I become? (stream)

It’s Friday afternoon – let’s ratchet down the intensity, shall we?  A new song from Loney Dear’s upcoming LP Hall Music:

This track features the change of pace soft female vocals of Malin Ståhlberg, but the overall technique and beauty that comes with Loney Dear is still there.  As with the last song, “My Heart“, Loney Dear has almost perfected the art of creating delicate whispering sad songs that have a bazillion of intricacies buzzing through the background.  Almost like a audio version of a Seurat painting…though that’s an extreme.

Hall Music comes out on October 4th via Polyvinyl.
