Lissy Trullie – Madeline (mp3)

It’s been a while since I’ve listened to Lissy Trullie, but I was absolutely taken with her Self-Taught Learner EP and all its Joan-Jett-almost-punk-almost-rock jams.  Well she’s following that gem up with a new S/T LP due out next March.  The first taste we get from it is “Madeline” – a song that is pretty different sounding than her previous efforts.  A little bit slower and dare-I-say shoegazey.  And it works.  The song is killer.
