Philly’s The War On Drugs have one of my most anticipated albums coming out this year in Slave Ambient (out August 16th on Secretly Canadian). Their debut Wagonwheel Blues and follow up EP Future Weather blew my ears out with their psyched out tripped out under the bridge springsteen acid rain vibes. Slave Ambient seems like it will follow suit and then some judging by the first single “Baby Missiles”. You might recognize it from the EP, but its been redone and is spectacular.
