Remix: Friendly Fires takes on Phoenix’s Fences

phoenix fences remix

Friendly Fires remixing Phoenix?  NOICE!  Listening to this remix of “Fences” I’m reminded of old school club music meshed with modern day slice and dice mix mayhem.  Some of the toning is a little strange, but all in all the remix comes as advertised.  Check it:

mp3: Phoenix – Fences (Friendly Fires Remix)

And guess what…this will not be the last remix of “Fences” you hear because Phoenix, like the kind folks they are, have offered up the stems for all to use and re-work.  Get them here and get ready for the wave.

extra but completely unrelated ->

mp3: We Have Band – Oh! (Andrew Friendly Remix) *this is not a Friendly Fires remix…I was mistaken…but it still kicks ass!*

    Thanks for posting my remix of We Have Band, again. But it’s got naught to do with Friendly Fires. It’s by me, Andrew Friendly, a London DJ/ producer. Not Friendly Fires. It was incorrectly blogged as “Andrew Friendly Fires” originally. But we just share the “Friendly”bit of our names.

    Cheers!
    Andrew
