New John Vanderslice – “Fetal Horses”

The Slice(aka John Vanderslice) is back with a new track from his upcoming seventh album Romania Names.  “Fetal Horses” finds Vanderslice taking the slow road to sadness with a tale of heartbreak and a sedated tempo.  More important though is the outstanding vocals he throws down in this one.  Much more melodic and full of range than I ever remember Vanderslice having.  The album is due out on May 19th via Dead Oceans.  Here’s the track:
