Quick Hits: Summer Dregs

Summer Dregs are my first taste of the Chattanooga, Tennessee music scene…and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure there was a scene there to begin with.  But Summer Dregs have proved to me otherwise.  The group is the collaboration between Carl Caldwell and a slew of other talented Chattanooga players.  The result is some pretty solid rough textured electronic pop in the same vein of Passion Pit and Dntel.  Summer Dregs’ LP From Gold To Green is out now and you can pick it up from CDBaby.
