Ahhh…soft chamber pop music that slows down the blistering current of my frenzied work day mind. The inspiriting breeze of Sweden’s South Ambulance is oh so fine. They’ve just released their EP#5, the second of a trio of EPs being put out by Indiecater Records. South Ambulance gained some notoriety when they put out their debut S/T album via Labrador a few years ago, but this was the first time I had sat down to listen to them. They have that Beach Boys vibe like so many bands do, but the summer day whisks all that away and I’m left with some comforting pop music to doze off to…is it 5 O’clock yet?
