Quick Hits: Louis Weeks
Louis Weeks is a singer-songwriter from Baltimore. Most of his music draws that Nick Drake comparison, which is okay, but nothing especially moving for me. Why I’m writing about him right now is that his newest song, “Bloodline”, is something special. A honest folk song, recorded at home, with very subtle electronics/samples flurried in at the end.

He’s finishing up a degree in music composition in Maine right now, but plans to release more of these home recordings in the future. He’s got me interested.
