When Cut Copy hand picks a band out of a sea of demos to come on tour with them for some select east coast shows…it helps you get noticed. This is the case for New York’s Kordan aka Arthur Eisle. His demos were featured on NY’s East Village Radio when Cut Copy were hosting it and they remembered when they plotted their tour later. This past summer Eisle released Kordan’s Fantasy Nation, a maxi-single composed of lo-fi twangy guitar led bedroom space recordings. They come across pretty rough, but they’re compelling tracks that stick with me. Perhaps they’ll stick with you too.
