Major Napier
The yesterday Zen Tapes turned me onto Melbourne’s Major Napier aka Johnny Ross. He’s got a free EP, Major Soldier, up on bandcamp, and its comprised of some shadowy trail worn beats with his harmonized vocals over top. It’s unique and raw…and dope. Apparently he has “no interest in making beautiful music. I want to tear your fucking heart out and change your life.”
Sounds good to me.
