Favorites: HAPPY TRENDY – Die Young EP
2012 baby…time to catch up on some of the stellar releases I failed to get to in 2011. The first of which is the super duper bedroom electronic pop gem of HAPPY TRENDY‘s Die Young EP. The transformation of Dylan Khotin-Foote’s work from Old Friends to now is pretty grand. The best part is that the wholesome sincerity that hugged Old Friends still exists with Die Young – the compositions are just further honed and better produced. Add some soft and sweet vocals of Rachel Levy on a few tracks and you have GOLD. Seriously go grab it here right now.
