It looks like every blog and it’s mother has posted on the new track from Atlas Sound, “Walkabout” featuring Panda Bear…but I was away the last week or so and I’ve just now been able to soak in it’s sparkling goodness…and trust me there’s much sparkling and gobs of goodness with this track. Panda Bear’s wind swept sun drenched echoes are all over “Walkabout” making it a true treat to the ears (and making me pull out my copy of Person Pitch to digest all over again). Logos, Atlas Sound’s upcoming album, looks like it is going to be one heck of an album.

Ahh…the holidays…time to take a break from shows and just chill for a bit…but wait…not just yet. Why? Well the answer is at Sonar tonight where Spank Rock, Plastic Little, Ninjasonik, Po Po, XXXchange, Devlin & Darko, Dirtyfinger, DJ Hoff, Cullen Stalin, Hip Hop Dan, Cerebral Ballzy and more will be tearing it up tonight. This week has been rather ho-hum which has been great. Nothing phenomenal happened, but nothing horrible either. Earlier this year we posted about The Notwists’ pretty rad new album, The Devil, You + Me (read it here). Recently The Notwist have put out a 7″ single for the track “Boneless” and it features a stunning remix from Animal Collective’s Panda Bear. Panda Bear has pretty much created an entirely new song with remix using his deep layers of echoes and sounds. Take a listen:
