Tonight is a crazy busy night for shows. Let’s start off here in Baltimore. Sacramento’s Cake is playing a big show at the Pier Six Concert Pavilion while Kadman, Eureka Birds and The Interiors play, one of our favorite hot spots, the Metro Gallery. Also in Charm City is Glasvegas, Thrushes, and Bad Liquor Pond at the Ottobar, and finally Tegan & Sara, City and Colour, and Girl In A Coma play Rams Head Live. Down in DC there’s quite a few events to speak about. If you have tickets to the Ratatat, Panther, E Rock show at the Black Cat consider yourself lucky becauseit’s sold out. The 9:30 club has the Fratellis, Electric Touch, and The Airborne Toxic Event while the Rock and Roll Hotel has Damien Jurado, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, and Title Tracks. Finally up in Philly there seems to be a ton of solid shows as well. The Khyber has The Silent Years, Happy Anarchy, and Dan Malloy, while the M Room has Mose Giganticus, The Major Leagues, The Emotron, and The Trakes. Johnny Brenda’s has DC’s These United States, Buried Beds, and The Mural and The Mint, while the Electric Factory has N.E.R.D., Common, and Chester French. Finally the highlight of the night in Philly has to be Fleet Foxes and Frank Fairfield at the Starlight Ballroom. That’s a lot of shows, but if I missed one please let me know.
