A few weeks ago Midnight Juggernauts unveiled their first slice of new music with the single “This New Technology” (get it here via Acephale). Now they’ve backed that up with a handful of remixes for the single. I was pumped when I saw that Memory Tapes and The Juan Maclean were some of the contributors, but all in all each one is solid. Which is your favorite?

After waves of gritty synth pop EPs and singles Australia’s Midnight Juggernauts finally blessed us with their debut album Dystopia in 2007 (though I didn’t catch it until later). Now they’ve moved on and set their sights on a new album. They recently hit everyone off with a more aggressive new digital single “This New Technology”. This release coincides with a (very) brief US tour in which they’ll be previewing much of the new stuff for this 2010 slated album. Pre-order the physical single via Acephale Records here. Optimism is good. I always like to look on the bright side of life (yup just like Monty Python). There’s so much crap going on in the world, sometimes you have to look sunny side up to even make it through the week. So here’s to smiling just for the hell of it. And if you need some coaxing…
