I’m pumped for the upcoming DOOM (formerly MF DOOM) album due out on March 24th and entitled Born Like This. Well apparently mister Thom Yorke is slated to remix the track “Gazzillion Ear” and will be featured as an Itunes bonus track. So what does this mean? It means I’ve circled March 24th in bright red magic marker on my calendar and I suggest you do the same. Here’s some tracks to help you fantasize what this remix might actually sound like.

Lex is putting out DOOM’s (formerly MF DOOM – why the change?) new album Born Like This on March 24th and after hearing “Ballskin” and this new one, “That’s That” I think it’s safe to say it’s going to be pretty phenomenal. And I also think it’s going to have a major focus on straight up rhymin’ (you know – what hip hop is really about). No hooks. Just rhymes. DOOM kills it on “That’s That” and I’m pretty sure the rest of the album will follow suit especially since there are confirmed appearances of Ghostface, Raekwon, and some J Dilla Beats. Here’s the new track:

MF Doom is back with a new track “Ballskin” off of his new album, Born Like This, due out later this year on Lex Records. “Ballskin” reminds me a bit of “Money Folder” – short track, great beat, all rhymes, no chorus. Except this one has some Wu-flavor to it.

A few weeks back we posted on the fabulous mixtape The Hood Internet put together for Tobacco and Aesop Rock mash-ups, but little did we know that they were in the midst of producing The Mix Tape Volume Three. This thing is mega and might be their best yet. Chromeo vs. Rihanna? MF Doom vs. Ladytron? Hell yes! Here’s my favorites so far (but the whole thing is worth the download):
