I’ve been keeping track of Mr Vega’s remixes for a while now. I’ve just started taking note of fellow Brooklynite Jemex. So when a trio of remixes turned up in my inbox…needless to say I was pumped. Brooklyn producer/dj/artist Jemex has something going for sure. A few weeks ago he sent over his new album Square 1 featuring the vocals of Dean Gray. It’s quite the treat. If you dig Gnarls Barkley, smooth electronic beats and synths, change of pace guitars, and a style that travels from the club to the lounge to the stage in an instant, then you would definitely dig Jemex. I do.
