
I was interested to see what the UK’s Foals would do with the industrious epic “The More That I Do” by Sweden’s The Field. They ended up keeping the core essence of the track intact while lightening and shortening it quite a bit. In the end it’s a bit easier to digest than the original (for me at least).

Foals lead singer Yannis Philippakis recently updated their myspace blog with news of them working on a new album. He was even nice enough to put up some rough demos he had started working on one lonely night. Basically they involve him “messing around” with some loop pedals. Check the full set here.
