Baltimore’s Ear Pwr has just released their first video from their album Super Animal Brothers III. “Future Eyes”, the catchy single is as gaudy and bright of a video as can be expected from the neon powered group. Check it:
On May 19th Baltimore’s Ear Pwr are set to release their new LP Super Animal Brothers III via Carpark Records. To support the what is sure to be a dance party crazy fun album they plan on taking their disco electronic golden sparkling jamboree on the road all over the US. Check some tracks now and the tour dates and track listing after the jump.
Tonight has a bum rush of shows and I’m here to talk about some of them. Here in Baltimore the Zodiac has EAR PWR, Adventure, Dinowalrus, and Bachelor Of The Arts. Should be sweet. Also the hip hop poet himself, Common will be rolling into Sonar with Saleem and the Music Lovers and Wendel Patrick opening. Rams Head Live has one of my (and probably everyone else’s) favorites in Modest Mouse performing. Also don’t forget that Eureka Birds are playing/recording a micro show at 2603 N. Charles St. Space will be limited. Down in DC Hoots and Hellmouth perform at the Rock and Roll Hotel with Good Old War while Nancy plays the Red and the Black with Jay Paslay. The 9:30 Club is the place to be though with Bell X1 and another one of my favorites, Harlem Shakes opening. Finally up in Philadelphia Bishop Allen rock the First Unitarian Church while Langhorne SLim, The Bones Royal, and Red Collar play Johnny Brenda’s. Enjoy!
North Carolina by way of Baltimore duo Ear Pwr have just signed to Carpark Records. The lively Devin and Sarah pump out disco house indie pop that is pure sugar cane fun. Their goal is to make you happy and dance and they succeed – most definitely! Their new album, Super Animal Brothers III, will grace the dance floor on May 18th – a bit of a wait I know, but here’s a hopped up track off it for your listening pleasure:
