Adem is a Turkish-English musician from South London. He’s had a number of releases on Domino Records, the most recent being Takes, a collection of covers completely transformed by this wonderfully pleasant singer songwriter. On Takes, Adem plays songs by Bedhead, PJ Harvey, Tortoise, Yo La Tengo, and The Breeders and restructures them into introspective, stripped down “nu-folk” tales.
