Sweden’s Lykke Li grew up living in Sweden, Portugal, Nepal, and India. Echoes of these places are the canvas for Little Bit, her EP just released on LL (her own label). Horns, strings, and a multitude of rhythms surround Lykke Li’s mesmerizing vocals, yet it never feels crowded. The air around this music always seems to be light and personal. I hear traces of Siouxsie and Bjork floating around the atmosphere, but ultimately Lykke Li has a beautiful artistic voice that demands a longer listen.
