Here I thought I’d lost all my baby teeth, but come to find out, they’d just moved to Chicago and formed a swell band. Baby Teeth is a Chicago three piece that is bloated with organ driven, sometimes funk infused, pop songs that blend Elton John’s Crocodile Rock with the innovative indie stylings of Spoon. As mentioned in this post, lead singer and keys player Abraham Levitan has an amassed amount of energy when he performs, making it next to impossible for anyone who sees them to sit still. Their live show is something that definitely sends them to that upper level of rock bands. And it further shows that Baby Teeth have cracked the code to the happy medium between classic rock, disco, and modern indie rock. Go to their show. Be amazed. Buy the CD.
