Way back when this blog was first cutting it’s teeth I had the pleasure of catching New York’s Ravens & Chimes at the Rock and Roll Hotel in DC. Needless to say it was an amazing performance featuring a super sweet cover of Leonard Cohen’s “So Long, Marianne”. Then I picked up their debut album Reichenbach Falls and was equally impressed by what I heard. They play intricately arranged rock in the vein of Arcade Fire, but it’s all unified by the expressive and heartfelt vocals of Asher Lack. They’ve been busy recording a new album and were kind enough to give us a brand spanking new song to share with all yous.
