Is it strange that there are so few remixes of Bat For Lashes? I mean Two Suns is one of the top albums of the year (IMO) so you’d think people would be goin’ all Phoenix-remix-happy over some of the tracks. Not to say there aren’t any, but just not an abundance for such a heralded group/person. So here comes Skream with his serving of “Pearl’s Dream”. I’m no fan/expert on dub electronic music, but London’s Skream is supposedly one of the better DJs pushing it. The result of the remix…it’s okay. Does it do the original justice by taking it to another fantastic level? No. Not really. Is it still a good listen? Yes.
