Victoria Bergsman’s (ex-The Concretes) other band Taken By Trees has just released a new video for the soft-hearted cover of Animal Collective’s “My Girls” (renamed “My Boys” for a personal touch). Most of her new album East Of Eden has a strong world music influence (it was recorded in Pakistan with sufi musicians) except “My Boys”…which is fine because it is GOOD. The video is a simple and quaint summertime stroll through the high grass with some tight rope walking thrown in there for good measure. Check it:

Royksopp also released a new video recently for one of my favorite tracks off of Junior “This Must Be It”. The track features The Knife/Fever Ray’s Karen Dreijer Anderson so naturally the video would be just….strange. Umm….take a look/see for yourself:
