After a slow week for shows it finally starts to pick it up tonight. In Baltimore the Golden Fest continues at the Golden West Cafe with performances by Lo Moda, Ed Schrader, Matrimonials, and neckLACE. Also another great show is at the Ottobar with Sri Aurobindo, The Flying Eyes, Bad Liquor Pond, and Heroin UK. If you are looking to get your dance on Taxlo is back at Sonar and tonight features Nick Catchdubs of Fool’s Gold Records, Mattie Safer of The Rapture and the usual suspects, Simon Phoenix and Cullen Stalin. Down in DC Kim Deal and family aka The Breeders roll into the Black Cat with The Whispertown 2000 while the Phenomal Hand Clap Band hits up DC9. Finally don’t forget that up in Philadelphia B.C. Camplight, The Bye Byes, the Capitol Years, Bert Jansch, and Alasdair Roberts are set to kill it at Johnny Brenda’s. Enjoy!
