
Another packed Saturday for shows is upon as…are you excited? Lush Farm play the Metro Gallery here in Baltimore. Also in town are Caverns who play the Hexagon with Nighthorse, Solar Powered Sun Destroyer, and Lexanne. Over at the Ottobar The Low Anthem and Langhorne Slim bring their tour to Charm City. Down in DC the Red and the Black keep it going with Gist, Hammer No More The Fingers, The Seldon Plan, and E Joseph and the Phantom Heart while the Rock and Roll Hotel boasts the Starlight Mints, Death By Sexy, and Gringo Star. The highlight of the night comes when the ethereal sounds of Bat For Lashes roll into the 9:30 Club. Other lives open for them. Of course don’t forget the super special/rare appearance of the infamous producer/dj Prince Paul at DC9 who is a guest while DJ NiteKrawler spins as well. Up north in Philadelphia the Danger Danger Gallery is having their four year anniversary show and have Make A Rising, Oh! Pears, Br’er, Power Animal, Owl Stations Sway, Effing, Exercise, L’Ananas, Zevious, Hume, Whales and Cops, Eddie Sids, Street Fighter II, and California Games performing. Also Kung Fu Necktie Drug Rug and Remote Islands play while First Unitarian Church has Passion Pit an The Grates. Not to be left out Dungen play Johnny Brenda’s with Woods while Iron and Wine, The Decemberists, Chris Kasper, Enter the Haggis, Alela Diane, Cresson Street Vibration, and Fraction Theory take part in the Philadelphia Folk Festival in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania.
