It’s insane that Chromeo is so marvelous. Really. It is. I could listen to their albums for days upon days and most definitely it would put me in a better mood. So their next in line for the DJ Kicks series and as a promotion they’ve given away their own cover of the Eagles classic “I Can’t Tell You Why”. It’s marvelous. Really. It is. Should that surprise you or me? Not one bit. Chromeo is so golden they can rock a kids show like nobody else. Check the track:

Ya chromeo is filthy good. There is really no need to ever turn them off. Unless you’re listening to La Roux or something equally bad ass.
What’s with the passage of time that makes people they can recontextualize the most horrible turds? This song sucked back when Henley & Co did it (with the dude that sings like a girl and nobody can remember his name on lead). The Chromeo version sounds like some street musician using a cheap Casio or something heard on a cruise ship for fat, short wearing red-staters.
Come on. Love Tenderoni but this is an abomination.
