New Division Day – Chalklines

L.A.’s  Division Day have signed to Dangerbird, announced a new album (Visitation – out August 18th), and plotted a U.S. tour all within the last month and a half.  No doubt they’ve been busy.  Division Day have also given us a first glimpse of their more mature, textured, and pumped up sound with the lead single off of Visitation “Chalklines”.  It’s pretty sweet.  Perhaps due to the fact that they are working with producer Justin Meldal Johnsen (NIN, Beck, Gnarls Barkley) or that they’ve just progressed as a band.  Check it:
