Tonight is fairly quiet ’round Baltimore (perhaps in anticipation of tomorrow’s Whartscape?) but if you want some sort of entertainment you could head over to Rams Head Live to check Ani DiFranco. Down in DC there’s a ton of shows to fill your ears. The Velvet Lounge has Last Tide, Kadman, Wax Standard, and DJ Mystical Weed 420 while the Rock and Roll Hotel has The Jackfields, Janel and Anthony, and Birdlips. Also summer is in full effect at Fort Reno with Imperial China, Fffever, and The Key Blanks while across the way in Arlington, Iota has Bellflur, The Moderate, and Vox Pop. Finally up north in Philly Handsome Furs bring their tour into town to Johnny Brenda’s. Dri and the Cinnamon Band open for them. Enjoy!
