Minneapolis’ Ice Palace are a 5 piece rock band the skim the line between old school grunge rock and modern folk rock with beautiful ease. One minute I hear Nirvana (which is always a plus in my book), the next Social Distortion, then some slide guitar and acoustics simmer to the top and make me rethink everything I just heard. Emerging from the confusion is a rock-steady album in Wonder Subtly Crushing Us. It’s out now!
