Passion Pit seem to be on the tip of everyone’s ears these days which is not really a surprises since their debut album, Manners, is a gem. They also haven’t shied away from taking on some remix projects. Their most recent adventure is with Dan Black’s “Symphonies”. I really like what they did. The original is pretty marvelous indeed, but Passion Pit put their electronic fingerprint on it and flush the track of that heavy beat/symphonic sound and replace it with an arcade of synths.
