Remix: MGMT takes on Violens’ Doomed

MGMT has dipped into the remix realm themselves a few times before (Chairlift and Black Kids being the notable ones), but those never really floated my boat too much.  They take another stab at it with their redux of Violens‘ “Doomed”.  MGMT opens this track up a bit adding some depth to the vocals and bolstering the rhythms as well.  All in all it’s the most appealing remix they’ve done that I’ve heard – nothing over the top – just solid.
