Here in Baltimore tonight there’s no place I’d rather be than Rams Head Live with the Beastie Boys. It’s time to get ill folks. Over at Merriweather Post Pavilion the star combo line ups continue with NINJA 2009 aka Jane’s Addiction and Nine Inch Nails. It’s like it’s 1993 all over again with those two bands (two of the very first CDs I ever bought – Jane’s Addiction’s Nothing Shocking and Nine Inch Nails’ Pretty Hate Machine). If you’re down in DC perhaps you will be attending TV On The Radio and the Dirty Projectors at the 9:30 Club or Passion Pit, Harlem Shakes, and Cale Parks. Both are friggin sweet shows and, yes, both are sold out. Nuts. Up north in Philly Johnny Brenda’s has Local Natives (who kick ass I might add) and Blind Pilot while The M Room has Thunders, Music for Headphones, and Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band. Where are you going to be?
