Seattle’s The Cave Singers play that dusty road kind of folk pop that warms your soul. Pete Quirk’s gruff voice combined with excellent band play behind him usually makes for a good audio feast. They’ve just put out the first track, “Beach House” (which doesn’t sound at all like the band Beach House if you were thinking that) off of the upcoming Matador release Welcome Joy (August 18th).
