It’s hard to think any remix could top any of the originals on Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion. Stones Throws’ Dam-Funk gave it a shot with their light synth rework of “Summertime Clothes”. It’s definitely no where close to being as good as the original, but I do like it. It’s got a bit of that feathered hair/long strut attitude that was always missing from AC.
