Friday night is living up to it’s top billing status this week with a slew of great shows around the area. The big one in Baltimore tonight is Double Dagger’s album release show at Floristree. Videohippos, Dream Neighbor and Air Waves open. Down in DC St. Vincent and Lo Moda play the Black Cat while Solar Powered Sun Destroyer, Born Empty, Vinny Vegas, and Birthing Of Millions play the Velvet Lounge. Over in Arlington Iota has Eric Brace, Last Train Home, Peter Cooper, and Vandaveer. Up north in Philly there’s ton of options for music. The North Star bar has Cheers Elephant and The Armchairs while the Danger Danger Gallery has Screaming Females and MTN High. Also Pure Nightclub has The Field and The Juan Maclean while the Trocadero has Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Ned Oldham. Johnny Brenda’s has a great line up as well with Audible, the Bye Byes, and BC Camplight. Enjoy!
