Stereogum is on top of it once again – the other day they brought to light 2 Summer Jams from a favorite of mine, The XYZ Affair. These catchy, witty, anthemic pop rock guys do it again with these “jams” indeed. They hooked me before with the intoxicating blend of Weezer and Arcade Fire along with their Double Dare themed video. Now these new ones pick up right where they left off…except with a tad more hot emotion. Just in time for the summer.
