I first fell into Deastro by loving up the this track:

Which was featured on the free Ghostly Swim comp (Ghostly International vs. Adult Swim) that I picked up last year. Full of grand bouncing Zelda like electronics it was hard not to like. Deastro aka Randolph Chabo is now about to release his first LP and is bringing along a full band for this Ghostly International ride. The Album is called Moondagger and comes out on June 23rd. Judging by these two new tracks (“Spritle” is off a new 7″ while “Parallelogram” is off of Moondagger) it’s safe to say this album is going to take over a big portion of my day when I get my hands on it.

Also keep an eye out for the second single, “Vermillion Plaza”, that comes out on May 12th. It features a b-side remix by MUX MOOL!!!!
