Austin’s multi-genre eclectic explosion of a band, Honey Claws are back with a new EP, Healer. It’s a 4 track affair that swims through hip hop, rock, and numerous other sounds just within four quick songs. The stand out track on Healer has to be the reggae dub/afro beat hip hop beat driven track “Beat Of The Wet Eve”. It’s friggin amazing.

The EP was mixed by Bill Racine who has worked with a stellar group of bands in the past including Mates of State, Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev and 50 Cent. Smash all those bands/artists into a pulp then reform it into an EP and you’d probably have something that sounds like Healer.
