You never know what to expect from a band after they receive a big bowl full of recognition for a small time EP. Passion Pit had that catchy quirky electro pop goodness on their Chunk Of Change EP so what was the next logical step on their LP Manners? Well from the first three tracks that have been released it appears they’ve taken advantage of studio production to its fullest. The good thing is they are talented and smart enough that this does not destroy their sound and how they put songs together. The style is still there, just fully realized. “Little Secrets” has them blistering some Wonder-esque electro funk while “Moth’s Wings” has them tone down the electronics for their best impression of Arcade Fire. Pretty dope.
