Many of you who follow Pasta Primavera may have wondered, “Yo Pasta! Where’s your artist reviews/suggested listening posts? Those are the part of your site that I love the most!”
Well that’s the part of the site that take the most time to develop and create and lately I’ve been short on time. Why? Well this past Sunday (Easter) my wife gave birth to a new baby boy!! It’s the most amazing and beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. Really. I’m looking at him right now – I’m in awe. So as you can imagine between the time at the hospital and getting situated at home, I haven’t really had the desire to take the time to examine albums and such. Don’t worry – I’ll be back at it soon (Today I plan on working on new reviews for The Decembersits, Official Secrets Act, and Double Dagger so look out for those in the future).
I would like to use this post as public record to state how friggin awesome my wife is. I don’t think I could ever come close to the strength she showed throughout the pregnancy. And to show how cool she is, after our son was born and we were able to hold him for the first time, they had to take him away to run the standard tests. She then looked at me completely spent and asked if I could put on the new Animal Collective album. Nice.
