Last summer we caught wind of Calico Horse and their last album Mirror – a psychedelic twist of indie rock led by the strong vocals of Emily Neveu. They’ve been working on some new stuff and recently sent it our way. The track entitled “Newest Song” is a drawn out rhythmic tune that seems perfect for a mid week day like today. They also sent over a cover of Radiohead’s “Idioteque” which is much much much more subdued than the original.
