The Run Down – March 27, 2009

Another day another crazy night here in Baltimore.  If you want to see a show there’s plenty to go around.  First up Asobi Seksu, Tyvek, and Thrushes play the Ottobar.  Also The Jaguar Club, E Joseph and The Phantom Heart, The Jennifers, and FFHH play the Metro Gallery while Deer Tick plays the G-Spot with Phosphorescent opening.  Hip hop is also in town at Sonar with Rakim, Chubb Rock and Billy Lyve.   Down in DC Death By Sexy has their CD Release at the Black Cat with The Blackjacks and Cobra Collective opening for them while the Red and the Black have a wild one with dd/mm/yyyy, The Shackeltons, and Surprise! Arizona.  Across the way in Arlington you can catch blind Pilot and Ezra Furman and the Harpoons at Iota.   Up north in Philadelphia Saul Williams, Les Claypool, O’Death, and Secret Chiefs 3 play the Electric Factory while Say Hi and East Hundred play Johnny Brenda’s.  Also don’t miss out on Efterklang who play the First Unitarian Church with Peter Broderick.  Enjoy!
