The White Stripes frontman Jack White is at it again with a new side project – this one being the powerhouse band The Dead Weather. I say powerhouse because it features Allison Mosshart of The Kills on vocals, himself on vocals and guitar, Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age on the guitar, and Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs on bass. Pretty much impossible to not sound good, right? CORRECT! They’ve put out new single “Hang You From The Heavens” with a b side cover of Gary Numans’ “Are Friends Electric?” and it’s solid. Some may say it sounds a lot like most Jack White concoctions, but aren’t most of his concoctions badass? CORRECT! Take a listen:
