Like the cube I asked when I read the mail in my inbox relating to London’s Rubicks and their new EP Red Rock due out in April. No of course not the cube – the four piece band that distorts and electrobeats some great songs. You could easily mash them between bands like Metric, Blondie, Ladytron, Enon — but only because they’re a female led rock group with electronic intentions. The real scoop is that they hold their weight when compared to their influences, and are kicking my ass today with their songs while I work.
