New Music: Faunts “Feel.Love.Thinking.Of.” Review

The Batke family aka Faunts are blazing out of Alberta so watch out.  Really.  I mean.  Alright it’s hard to “blaze” out of Alberta, but Faunts new album Feel.Love.Thinking.Of has the right ingredients to get my attention.  Maybe it’s because they sound a lot like the 80s bands I grew up listening to.  I swear I remember one of these tracks playing in the background of Sixteen Candles.   Maybe I was mistaken.  FLTO has a modern darkness and punch to it and that’s what separates them from campy 80s imitations to relevant fusions of pop genres…or…you know…good music.  The album’s out on Itunes already and the physical is due out on February 17th via Friendly Fire.  Here’s some choice tracks off of it:

mp3: Faunts – It Hurts Me All The Time

mp3: Faunts – Feel.Love.Thinking.Of
