Franz Ferdinand have sort of released their first single from the long awaited Tonight : Franz Ferdinand. JP’s Blog did everyone a favor by piecing together the remix stems from their remix contest for “Ulysses”. Check the contest here and sample the track below:

Drowned In Sound recently interviewed the band here and they discuss the overall theme of the album being the nightlife as well as a good description of the recording process for it. This “Ulysses” track definitely has that dance floor feel to it. I think I’ll go out on a limb and say that I pretty sure this album is going to be sweet.

I dont believe this is the real version. I think that basically some kid took the remix parts, remixed it better than the original mix and because of that everyone think its the real one (ive seen this version posted on alot of blogs).
