On November 11th New York’s Longwave will release their long awaited fourth studio album, Secrets Are Sinister. The band’s long hiatus between albums (possibly fueled by label problems) has not hampered the end result. Produced by Peter Katis (Interpol), Secrets Are Sinister burns wildly with their patented post rock sound. The lead guitar is the focal point on many of the tracks as it slices down the middle of your heart with piercing and infectious melodies. Longwave certainly did not wait this extended amount of time to release a bag of lullabies. They came to rock well…and rock well they have (that’s Yoda speak for it’s the friggin’ bees knees).
